Wake up with a smile after having a very beautiful dream at night ! Here we are ready to begin a day that will be chirping.

Although 1 in 3 of our lives pass through sleep, our movements during the day are related to our sleep quality. Usually, 6–9 hours of sleep is enough for the average adult. When we get our sleep, we are less nervous, we are more likely to focus, and it is possible that we remember better, especially the information we have learned.

Did you know that the alarm is set not only to wake up, but also to sleep ?

But nowadays, there are common sleeping problems such as too much sleep or too little sleep. There are many factors that reduce our sleep quality, from mental problems to physical disorders. For example, some people who have mental health problems cannot fall asleep immediately. They are worried about whether they will be able to grow what they are going to do tomorrow. In addition, some people are conditioning themselves by saying that “I am pretty sure that I cannot sleep tonight.” The mind is like a computer. It takes everything serious that comes out of the mouth. Even if it is a joke. So we have to pay attention to the sentences we establish.

Some people say that “I didn’t come into the world to sleep.” However keeping your sleep time short causes distractions during the day, psychological problems, and an inability to get positive results from what we do.

As the day ends… Put your worries to rest. Tomorrow is another day, filled with hope, potential and promise.

So what could you do to ensure sleep hygiene ;

  • Almost a lot of us use electronic devices before we go to sleep. We have to stop using electronics two hours before we go to sleep. Even, we should not have them in our bedroom. Note ; I recommend that you set the yellow light (reading light) on the device you are using near sleep time. Your eyes will be ready for sleep. It may seem strange at first, but one day you won’t even notice that light.
  • In addition, the environment in which we sleep should be dark & quiet if possible.
  • And most importantly, avoid foods that give you energy before going to bed.
  • It is also useful to pay attention to your liquid consumption to avoid waking up from sleep and going to the toilet.
  • You can fall asleep comfortably by meditating as if massaging our soul or listening to nature sounds (such as bird chirping, rain sound).

If we want flowers to bloom in our soul, we can protect our mental health by paying more attention to environmental factors and especially our inner world. Thus, we can live a better quality life.
